Gialos
Gialos is the natural port of Symi. Around this is built amphitheatrically, the largest settlement . It stands out for the unique architecture and neoclassical houses by the sea and the hill. The two sides of the port are joined to a stone bridge, a “pavement”. Beyond the bridge, in the middle lies the Square of Campos, where the center has formed the Memorial and the bust of Professor of History Mich. Volonaki. A walk worth visiting over the bridge, is the one heading Nos beach, especially at sunset!
